Recognize this?

I've adapted the line a little for my environment, but here it goes:

"There's no crying in Afghanistan."

I blew that one all to heck and beyond today.  It was a horrible day from start to finish, with me crying in my room at the end of it.

I hate crying.  But that tuition for Hannah's school is going to be awful, so that means only one thing.   I'm going to have to stay over here.

Ack.  I don't even want to say it out loud, much less write it.  But, I'd do just about anything (legal) for my kids, and that includes staying over here when I really don't want to.

I just hope that my sanity holds up.

If you have to stay in country, just keep in mind each of the reasons that you're there. Hopefully it will make the time a bit more bearable. Also, remember your fellow contractors & troops who have been there longer.

In the meantime, keep your chin up & a positive attitude. Your troops need to see that in their leader. And until you come home, all of us will keep you in our hearts & thoughts. ;)
