We thought that getting into Interlochen was the most difficult part.
Nope.
The mountains of paperwork like the financial aid package and everything else is the really tough bit.
I think we've tackled it. Well, really, Eric tackled it. I just kicked it a little while it was down and whimpering.

The housing form is finished and submitted today, the financial aid packet was in, I filled out my arrival form, all we need now is a checkup/physical from a doctor and my most precious crap packed up from my room. Almost there mommy, almost there. :)

Funny thing is that you are probably right. It does weed out any family that isn't commited.
