I had to wear what I call my b*tch pants yesterday.  ALL DAY LONG. 

There are issues that, if you don't nip them in the bud right away, will fester and become a big pain in the rump.  I didn't want to have to deal with it later only to have a little bit of comfort now, so, I took care of them. 

The best part was - my management had my back.  What a liberating feeling to know that I can take care of things here and I have their full support.  I've gotten burned by that more than once before so I have to say that it's quite a relief.
