Blonde Moments

Today I had meetings straight through from 3pm until after 9pm. 

I only got out that early because I made a command decision that I didn't need to be at the meeting that lasted from 9:30 to 11:30pm. 

If meetings have purpose, clear agendas, and get something accomplished, then I can tolerate them pretty well.  But when I hear the same thing over and over and over and over again, well, I tend to let my mind wander. 

I try my best when I'm hosting a meeting to keep it moving and stick to only what's on the agenda.  Then, afterward, I send everyone notes that I took during the meeting along with the deliverables that I heard.  It's not a new concept, I'm sure.

Sometimes, I want to reach through the phone and shake people, though.   Don't waste my time and I'll do my best not to waste yours.
