Tired n Cranky

by blondtwin Email

I got ticked off at one of my customers because I've replaced his hard drive, cd drive and a couple of other peripherals all in the last month and I got a call yesterday from a third party saying that his stuff was "broke".

So, I got there today (after having to wait over four and a half hours to get over to that site) and was ready to lay into him for going around me and blah blah blah.  He immediately said how it was all a big misunderstanding, yes he was having issues with his computer, but he was working through them.  I figured the truth was somewhere in the middle of the mess so I was pretty relieved.  I thought it was his "tech envy" getting the best of him and that he was making stuff up.  I saw, firsthand, what his issues were, and so I was satisfied with finally replacing his laptop.  I gave him the old hard drive, though.  No need to be wasteful.  The other one is brand new and could be used in another laptop.  Maybe.  I'll have to check with the boss folks about that.

To make a long story longer, I waited over four and a half hours to do about two hours worth of work out there.  I got back and caught up on most of the stuff I needed to, but, finally my sinuses just fogged up my whole head.

I took my nyquil sinus just now and hopefully it'll do something for me, although I'm not holding out much hope since it hasn't yet and this is the last dose in the package.  Well, that's not true...it DOES make me a little loopy.  So, I still have all the symptoms, I just don't care as much.

Oh and I saw THIS article today.  Get into reality people.  It's JUST A MOVIE.  I could go on and on about how people never interact personally any more, but, I'd sorta feel like a hypocrite at this point and time.  *grin*  Maybe later, when the meds kick in.

Got almost 13 hours of sleep. I think my body needed it. Plus, I've been drinking tea nonstop today. First, I had white tea with mango and peach flavoring, then black tea with bavarian wild berry flavoring, then green tea with mandarin orange flavor. Of the three, my favorite is still the white tea, but they're all good...

Tea is great for you, expecially the green teas. You should also seek out some herbal teas, which are outstanding antioxidants. Besides that, they should help you relax after a stressful day. I hope you feel better as well.

Pandora: we saw Avatar (3D) a few weeks ago, & I immediately thought of you as well. I knew you were doing great at your new job, but didn't know they actually honored you by naming a planet after you! ;)

I found it more humorous how, in the picture in the article, there was a guy with a box of pizza, and right next to him was a guy with a video camera recording the movie.

Classic!
