It's all about perspective...

I have been doing my share of convoying since I got here.
I dutifully get into whatever vehicle I'm assigned, battle lock my doors, and I don't complain - even when it seems they're purposely hitting every bump.
But. These guys don't ride in the back seat. I do. So, they may not notice that the gunner has picked the harness out of his butt ten times already or that he has "adjusted" himself another five. I do.
I was wondering in which humvee in the convoy I prefer to sit. In the front, where I get to look at the gunner picking the harness from his behind incessantly? In the back, where I get to watch the gunner adjust himself face to, er, junk? Or in the middle, where I get a smattering of both?
Decisions decisions…
Most of the time now, I just look out the miniscule window and try not to think about what’s going on so near to me.

Speaking of mental images... We were driving past some of the French when we were leaving today and one was wearing a sheer black shirt. sheer. as in International Male sheer. Wow.
As for adjusting... just like in football, the bits get out of order when bouncing around on all those bumps. Ya gotta put 'em back in place! :)
Love, and take out there, ya hear?
And don't think just because the year's over, your Wingman forgot about you. That will never happen! ;)
