I got an Amazon Kindle for Christmas. I wasn't sure how I was going to use it, because Amazon's wireless network doesn't exactly work over here.  Plus, I didn't think I could download the ebooks to my laptop because I didn't have a USB cable to connect to the Kindle.  Well, it turns out that the power cord that connects to the Kindle has a USB connector that plugs into the socket plug.  So it's really a 2-in-1 cord.  I really like that feature!  Just pull the socket plug off, connect the USB cable to the USB port on my Netbook, and I was ready to go.  Also, the book files are fairly small to download from Amazon so it didn't take me forever to download.  Then I just copied them over to the Kindle, which showed up as a new drive on my Netbook.

Verrah easy.  I know Eric is hearing the sound "cha-ching" in the background, for me spending a gazillion bucks on books.  I promise, I won't get TOO crazy.  Plus, the Kindle will read PDF's.  I have tons of those.

I love techie gadgets.  They make me smile.
